Return Route from Alaska

Here's an interactive map where you can zoom in and out of my planned return route from Alaska.

I'm planning on stopping or passing the following places but still have to work out the mileage and logistics.
Juneau, Alaska
Prince George, BC, Canada
Jasper NP, AB, Canada
Banff NP, AB, Canada
Columbia Falls, Montana
Glacier NP, Montana
Shelby, Montana
Bismarck, North Dakota
Fargo, North Dakota
Minneapolis, Minnesota

I will make detours to see places along the way as I research the route, this is a preliminary route only.

After Minnesota it's basically ride home.

  1. I didn't realize you were going quite so far north. Have I mentioned that I think you have balls of steel? I think you have balls of steel. Also, I love Minneapolis. If you get a chance check out Bun Mi on Washington ave. I love those sammiches.

    1. I wish :-)
My Tenere seat is quiet hard, it's better for when doing off-road rides, stops you from sliding but not that good for the long stretches. My Concours was much more comfortable.

  2. Do you have an Airhawk seat? Mine changed my life. No kidding, my Father-in-law let me borrow his, and I went out and bought one immediately. Then I let my dad borrow mine, and he went out and bought one immediately. Compressable and gives me another 50% per leg - minimum. The air might also cushion those big balls of yours.

    1. I don't have one, they are pretty expensive plus I think it would make my seat even higher than I need it to be, I'm only 5'10"
Maybe I will try it first, a friend of mine has one.
