It takes you a little while to get accustomed to it if you aren't from an area that has any big game (like here on long island)

I totally love the buffalo. When we were there, it never got old seeing them in person.

GREAT blog - can't wait to read more!Fuzzygalorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05198483186952639226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-575417631109784818.post-73366046637236340062010-10-20T08:45:17.694-04:002010-10-20T08:45:17.694-04:00Mike, Thanks. I wasn't the only one by the guard rail, I asked a pretty lady to take a picture of me ;-) The camera is a compact 12MP Samsung HZ30W that I bought just for this trip because of the 15x and the 24mm wide (24 mm - 360 mm (15x) zoom lens) It got good reviews but I'm not too happy of some shots in bright sunlight. I had to correct lots of shots with Photoshop Elements :-) It's a small camera, I didn't want to carry my other camera.GFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08254196892811043203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-575417631109784818.post-22137553596333332422010-10-20T00:18:20.470-04:002010-10-20T00:18:20.470-04:00Wow, really great photos George! How did you get that shot of you with the bison in the background? And I'm curious what kind of camera you used. The quality and lighting are excellent. Looking forward to more!Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11946652999166458805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-575417631109784818.post-77515938308752922082010-10-19T09:25:09.323-04:002010-10-19T09:25:09.323-04:00I am originally from Africa but I have to say, I s...I am originally from Africa but I have to say, I see more animals running free in the US than I ever saw in Africa. It's beautiful to see these large animals just roaming around people. I loved Yellowstone. I actually wanted to touch the water to see how hot it was, but then thought about it, it's boiling, I don't need to touch to know ;-)GFhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08254196892811043203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-575417631109784818.post-27533383155454124642010-10-19T00:13:14.156-04:002010-10-19T00:13:14.156-04:00Love the scenery, but I don't want to be anywh...Love the scenery, but I don't want to be anywhere close to bison! A guardrail or even a concrete bathroom just isn't adequate in my book! :)

They are cool looking beasts though.

Do not enter...lol...Some people just call that an invitation.Bluekathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13485258388887249275noreply@blogger.com
